- 2 white onions, sliced into ¼-inch thick rings
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Paprika, to taste
- Italian seasoning, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spoon about 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan directly onto the parchment paper to form a small cheese circle.
- Place one onion ring on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle another 1 tablespoon Parmesan over the onion ring.
- Gently press down with the back of a spoon to slightly flatten and help the cheese adhere.
- Season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Repeat with remaining onion rings, spacing them slightly apart.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is golden and crisp around the edges.
- Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the rings to firm up and become extra crispy.
