Ingredients

  • 2 white onions, sliced into ¼-inch thick rings
  • 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spoon about 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan directly onto the parchment paper to form a small cheese circle.
  3. Place one onion ring on top of the cheese.
  4. Sprinkle another 1 tablespoon Parmesan over the onion ring.
  5. Gently press down with the back of a spoon to slightly flatten and help the cheese adhere.
  6. Season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Repeat with remaining onion rings, spacing them slightly apart.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is golden and crisp around the edges.
  9. Let cool for 10–15 minutes before serving to allow the rings to firm up and become extra crispy.
