Description

Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a refreshing dessert that combines sweet strawberries, creamy layers, and a crunchy pretzel crust.


Ingredients

  • 6 oz strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • ¼ cup sugar (for pretzel layer)
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jello in 2 cups boiling water. Stir well and let cool to room temperature.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and stir in ¼ cup sugar.
  4. Add crushed pretzels and mix well.
  5. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking pan using a fork.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  7. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with ½ cup sugar until smooth.
  8. Fold in the whipped topping.
  9. Spread evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  10. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  11. Mix sliced strawberries into the cooled Jello mixture.
  12. Pour over the cream cheese layer evenly.
  13. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.
  14. Slice into squares and enjoy!
