- 1 lb ground beef
- ¾ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup water
- 3 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 12 oz refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the ketchup, water, brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a large bowl.
- Add the quartered biscuits and toss until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake for 28–30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
