This homemade cinnamon toast recipe is simple and delicious.
Ingredients

- ¼ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 4 slices white bread (can use whole wheat bread or Texas toast)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a small bowl, mix butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Spread the cinnamon butter mixture evenly on top of the bread slices.
- Place the bread on a sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Notes
- Spread the butter mixture to the edges of the bread.
- Keep an eye on the bread while broiling.
