A refreshing salad that combines cucumbers with a creamy ranch dressing and protein.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cucumbers, sliced
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ⅓ cup cooked beef or turkey strips, finely chopped
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tbsp finely chopped red onion
- 1–2 tbsp chopped fresh dill or 1 tsp dried dill
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the beef or turkey strips in a pan until well browned and slightly crispy. Let cool, then chop into small pieces.
- Slice cucumbers into ¼-inch rounds. No need to peel if using English or mini cucumbers.
- In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with the ranch seasoning until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine cucumbers, shredded cheddar, cooked beef or turkey, red onion, and dill.
- Add the ranch dressing and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes to enhance flavor.
