Delicious and rich Chunky Monkey Brownies with chocolate and banana.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 medium banana
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, salt, and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Stir in the flour and mashed banana until just combined.
- Fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips. The batter will be thick — this is normal.
- Pour batter into the greased pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Try adding nuts for extra crunch.
