Description

BEST EVER Chicken and Rice Casserole is a comforting dish that combines tender chicken with creamy rice.


Ingredients

  • 23 cups cooked, shredded or diced chicken
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 cups uncooked Minute Rice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, water, uncooked rice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  3. Lightly spray a 9 × 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  4. Pour the chicken and rice mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
  5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the casserole is bubbling.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
